Finally got another chance back on the Nova. Got the front fenders, core support, wheel liners and cowl panels removed. Unbolted the subframe and removed most components from it. Removed most components from the firewall also! It's almso been Christmas too because I got in the following parts: Hellwig front 1 1/8" sway bar, QA1 single adjustable coil overs, upper and lower tubular control arms, C6 Z06 front brake rotors (14.6" in diameter!) drilled and slotted and brake pads. Getting ready to order Kore3 front brake calipers and lines, and Speed Techs spindles with C5 hub bearings. Next on my list is to fully strip the subframe, clean and paint it. Once thats finished I'll get the front brakes and suspension installed to get ready and get the firewall smoothed over.

Back at it finally
Finally after much chaos I got a day back on the Nova. Finished pulling the engine and transmission out. Hoods off for ease while working on engine bay. Next task is checking on damage in engine to see if it can be fixed cheaply to resale it. After that is taking all the wiring out of the engine bay, clean up the firewall and smooth it out.

Day 1--Got to start somewhere
| This is what the body is starting out as. |
| Starting point of the dash. |
So day one I've got pics of the starting project. It's a 1973 Chevy Nova with a small block chevy and 350 Turbo transmission with a non-posi rear end. Body is all original. Interior is mostly original with original bench seats pulled out and bucket seats installed. It's a good solid starter for whatever I want. First thing I'm doing is pulling out the engine and transmission, upgrading to modern LS electronic set up, and upgrading the brakes as it currently has manual brakes with drums on all four corners. So far on first weekend getting started I've disassymbled a LQ4 6.0L LS engine I got from a 2002 Gator. I got the complete engine harness with PCM. I've got a 4L60E at work waiting to get torn down and rebuilt with new fibers and upgraded hard components. Pics on that later. So day 1 is tear down of new engine and get it ready to be dropped off to get bored over.
